"RBL Centenary Celebration Gin has been created to mark the occasion of the Royal British Legion’s 100th anniversary (1921-2021).
A traditional dry gin distilled with a unique blend of botanicals, including juniper, coriander, angelica, orris root, cassia, Sweet clementine’s and poppy seed
In 1921 the Royal British Legion was formed to provide support for all service and ex-service personnel and their families. The charity receives no external funding and is entirely dependent on donations that are collected, especailly during the annual poppy appeal.
This new gin has been crafted, distilled and bottled by Derbyshire Distillery, who use local botanicals where possible to create a perfectly balanced drink with real provenance.
The RBL gin concept was conceived by Richard Aspinall, a former serviceman and sales manager at Derbyshire Distillery. The original charity gin was developed in partnership with the RBL and this led to the following gins in the range: Eleventh Hour, Eleventh Day and Eleventh Month, followed by the Centenary Celebration Gin, which will only be available this year."
