Domain de la Motte Old Vines Chablis (France) - Complex and well rounded Chablis from vines averaging 40 years old. A proportion (15%) of the wine is barrel fermented and aged for 12 months. Baked apple aromas, orchard fruit and citrus flavours, a textured and full flavoured expression.
Circle of Life Biodynamic White (South Africa) - Biodynamic white, wild fermented for 7 months with a further 4 months lees-ageing giving complexity and weight to the palate. Flavours of orchard fruit and lime, creamy texture and minerality
"Illumine" Bourgogne Blanc (France) - A classic Chardonnay from Southern Burgundy - fine buttery and floral notes on the nose and a wine of substance and finesse on the palate. Some creamy textural notes up front reveal the discreet presence of oak, whilst on the finish there is some underlying minerality and a hint of citrus zestiness that provides long lasting flavours.
L' Ammonite Pouilly-Fume (France) - A honeyed and gently aromatic nose with a savoury, toasted fennel seed note. The palate is a rich and ripe reflection of this warm vintage (2018) balanced by smoky, grassy flavours typical of Sauvignon Blanc.
Turckheim Old Vines Gewurztraminer (Alsace) - A taste of paradise from vines over 30 years of age. Rich generous, crystallised lemon marmalade, overflowing with aromas of hyacinth, rose, lychee and honey. The palate is clean, lifted by hints of lime and a minerally character.
Sileni Grand Reserve Sauvignon Blanc (New Zealand) - A period on yeast lees post ferment develops texture and complexity. A classic regional style, this wine has intensely aromatic gooseberry and passionfruit characters. The palate is rich and full with a long finish.
Barolo Flori (Italy) - A complex nose combining plum, mulberry, ripe strawberry and brown spice with delicate floral and violet notes. Tannins are firm and supported with plump fruit and a rounded texture, giving a good lengthy finish.
Circle of Life Biodynamic Red (South Africa) - Ripe and herbaceous biodynamic red from a mixture of Rhone and Bordeaux varietals. Spontaneously barrel-fermented with wild yeast and aged 20 months in the same vessel.
Ch Carcanieux Cru Bourgeois Medoc 2015 (France) - Cabernet-dominant Medoc showing ripe cassis fruit, oak spice and a leafy note with ripe tannins. Earthy and spicy showing maturity at 5 years old from an excellent vintage.
Borsao Tres Picos Garnacha (Spain) - A very fine Grenache indeed that will appeal to fans of Chateauneuf du Pape and Southern French wines with lots of garrigue spice. This Spanish red is matured in French oak for 5 months and presents bramble and strawberry fruit, liquorice spice, vanilla from the oak with supple tannins and a long finish.
Don Nicanor Malbec (Argentina) - Brooding, intense, classic Malbec from 40+ year old vines with 18 months in oak and weighing in at 15.5% abv. The palate is smooth and rounded with supple tannins and a long intense pure finish with hints of bitter chocolate and spice. Made for steak.
Uggiano Chianti Riserva (Italy) - Complex and substantial Chianti. Warm, rich aromas of black cherry, dried fruits, spice and lightly balsamic notes. Spicy, meaty notes balancing plum characters, fresh cherry acidity and lightly herbal characters.
